  I never write reviews, but I don't think I've ever worked with a company that provides such poor and borderline unethical service. We were a regular client of Ryder's for several years and during that period one of the vans got a small ding on the door. When we returned the van Ryder charged us 6K to fix the door. They claimed it cost $4,000 to fix it, which was absurd given the fact that we could have taken it to our local repair shop and had them fix it for $500. Not only that, they charged a 50% markup on the repairs. When I called to discuss the issue they referred me to multiple different people all of whom said there was nothing they could do about it and I should speak with somebody else. That's what being a client for years will get you at Ryder. My advice: rent from literally anyone else.
